The Beginner Method

The full layer-by-layer method, broken into steps that each make sense on their own. These guides walk you through building the white cross, then inserting the four white corners to finish the first layer, then solving the middle-layer edges. After that you flip the cube and make the yellow cross, then orient and permute the last layer with a small handful of beginner algorithms you repeat until they feel automatic. No single step is difficult, and once the whole sequence lives in your hands you can take any scramble back to a solved cube.
